Journée mondiale des personnes handicapées : FITIMA Burkina sensibilise les élèves de l’école EZAKA B à l’inclusion !
À l’occasion de la Journée mondiale des personnes
handicapées, célébrée le 3 décembre 2025, FITIMA Burkina a conduit
une importante séance de sensibilisation au sein de l’école EZAKA B à
Ouagadougou. L’objectif principal était de renforcer la compréhension de l’inclusion
auprès des plus jeunes, afin de promouvoir un environnement scolaire
respectueux et ouvert à tous.
Comprendre les différents types de
handicap
Au cours de la rencontre, une éducatrice et une
psychologue de FITIMA Burkina ont échangé avec les élèves sur les différents
types de handicap, notamment :
- le
handicap moteur,
- le
handicap sensoriel,
- le
handicap mental,
- le
handicap psychique,
- ainsi
que les maladies invalidantes.
Ces échanges ont permis aux enfants de mieux saisir la
diversité des formes de handicap et de comprendre que chaque situation
nécessite une attention particulière et un respect profond.
Aborder les causes et les droits des
enfants en situation de handicap
Les intervenantes ont également expliqué les causes
possibles de ces handicaps, aidant ainsi les élèves à déconstruire
certaines idées reçues.
La séance s’est poursuivie par une discussion sur les droits des enfants
vivant avec un handicap, un volet essentiel pour encourager la protection,
l’égalité des chances et la participation pleine et effective de tous les
enfants à la vie scolaire.
Une participation active des élèves
et de l’équipe encadrante
Les écoliers d’EZAKA B ont fait preuve d’une grande
participation et d’une compréhension remarquable tout au long de
l’activité. Cette dynamique positive témoigne de l’intérêt que portent les plus
jeunes aux questions d’inclusion et de respect des différences.
FITIMA Burkina a été chaleureusement accompagnée par deux
enseignantes, la directrice de l’école EZAKA B, ainsi que l’inspectrice
de l’enseignement inclusif de la CEB de Ouaga 12, dont la présence a
renforcé l’importance de cette initiative.
